About Us

Incline Investment Management

The partners of IIM have a combined 50+ years of experience in the investment business. Both partners have worked in the alternative investment space for over 20 years. The management company Incline Investment Management, LLC was established in late 2009 following the completion of the research for its investment trading strategy. In 2012, the firm launched its proprietary investment strategy called the Systematic Hybrid™. The genesis of the company stemmed from the experience of the financial crisis of 2008 – 2009. It was clear that more investors needed additional diversification. Owning real estate and a portfolio of equities was not enough. When these asset classes positively correlated, as they collapsed together, during 2008 – 2009 this became very clear. IIM was formed to create an alternative form of diversification. The strategy was designed with targeted equity-like volatility. Investors that have risk tolerance to invest in equities should not find IIM’s portfolio any ‘riskier’. However, a key objective was to provide investors with non-correlated diversification. The goal is to lower an investor’s overall portfolio risk while increasing return. Note that for our programs that use futures, futures trading is inherently risky and there is the potential to lose money. This can be achieved when one adds a non-correlated investment to one’s portfolio.
